Morpheus8 combines two proven technologies — radiofrequency energy and microneedling — into a single device that remodels skin from within. Tiny insulated needles penetrate to precise depths (1mm to 8mm depending on area) while delivering RF energy to the subdermal layer. What to expect during your session

With numbing cream applied beforehand, most clients describe a sensation of needling and warmth. For patients who need additional comfort, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help reduce discomfort during treatment.

Treatment takes 30–60 minutes depending on the area. Immediately after, your skin will be pink and slightly swollen. Expect 3–5 days of redness and mild swelling. Tiny pinpoint marks resolve within a few days. Most clients feel comfortable returning to work within 5–7 days with makeup.

Results

When will you see results?

Skin tightening and texture improvement begin within 2–4 weeks as collagen starts rebuilding. Full results — visibly firmer, lifted, smoother skin — appear at 3 months and continue developing for up to 6 months.

Morpheus8 uses needles that physically penetrate the skin to deliver RF energy precisely at depth — this is different from Thermage (surface RF, no needles) and Ultherapy (ultrasound, no needles). Morpheus8 is particularly effective for skin texture improvement, acne scarring, and body contouring in addition to lifting. Does Morpheus8 hurt?

With numbing cream applied 30–45 minutes before treatment, most clients rate discomfort as mild. You'll feel warmth and pressure but not sharp pain. Sensitive areas (around the mouth, bony areas) may be more noticeable. We can adjust the settings and apply additional numbing if needed.

How much downtime should I expect?

Plan for 3–5 days of visible redness and mild swelling — similar in appearance to a sunburn. Most clients take 1–2 days off and return to normal activity with makeup coverage by day 4–5. We provide detailed post-care instructions and recommend specific skincare to support healing.

Who is not a candidate for Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is not recommended for patients with active skin infections, keloid scarring history, certain autoimmune conditions, or those who are pregnant. Patients on isotretinoin (Accutane) must wait 6 months before treatment. Our medical team reviews your history before any treatment.
